EFL Predictions: Early-Season Stats Catch Our Eye 👀

We’re only two games into the new EFL season, so there’s still very limited data to work with.

That makes early-season predictions particularly difficult, but there are already a few stats that have caught our eye.

Middlesbrough v West Brom

Blackpool v Peterborough

One thing that immediately stood out to us across these three fixtures was the xG data.

It’s obviously very early in the season, so we’re not going to pretend two games gives us a definitive picture.

However, the numbers are interesting enough for us to back Over 2.5 Goals in all three matches.
